District 20-K1 Past District Governors’ Association
To: The Family of Lions and Leos,
Greetings!
One year has passed and we reflect on the un-paralleled experience of
this global Covid -19 Pandemic. Vaccines to combat the virus are now
available. I am urging all Lions who feel comfortable, to take the vaccine as soon as you are eligible.
Current data indicates that we could begin to return to some degree of normalcy soon.
I must applaud all the Lions and Leos who continued to provide humanitarian service to our
communities during these challenging times. Please be reminded to follow the guidelines by continuing
to wear your mask, keeping a safe distance and avoiding large gatherings.
At this time of the Lionistic Year, I remind Lion and Leo Leaders to ensure that election of club offic-
ers for the next Lionistic year is completed in a timely manner. In addition, the results must be report-
ed on MyLion to Lions Clubs International and the District. This information will facilitate the timely
and accurate compilation of the new District Governor’s Directory.
st
Best wishes for good health and safety are extended to 1 International Vice President Douglas X. Al-
exander, Council Chair Deborah Harrison, District Governor Jacqueline V. Phillips and all the other
Lion leaders of District 20-K1 as they continue to lead us during these challenging times.
st
Lions, the Campaign Committee to Elect 1 . IVP Douglas X. Alexander continues to solicit your sup-
port by purchasing the commemorative pins and polo shirts. Your donations will be greatly
appreciated.
Just a reminder! The District 20-K1 PDG Association is ready and willing to be of assistance to you.
Just give us call.
“Kindness Matters” as “We Serve”.
Yours in Lionism,
PDG Clarence R.A. Higgins,
President
