Lion Ava Brathwaite-Rushing (East New York) shares the sad news that her darling husband, Mr. Eric Rushing has
transitioned from this earthly existence into eternity with his Creator. May the family find comfort and peace as they
recall happy memories.
Lion Keith Williams (President - Winthrop) mourns the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Edris Hyacinth Williams-
Mckinnon. She has fought the good fight, finished the race and now rests in eternal sleep. We extend our unwavering
support to the family and wish them peace, comfort, courage, and love during this time of sorrow.
Lion Paulette Anthony (Charter member, Vanderveer Park / Glenwood) is heart-broken over the untimely passing of her
youngest son, Mr. Michael Anthony. “His heavenly Father reached out His hand and called his name. He answered, took
His hand and was guided into eternal paradise. Perfect submission. All is at rest!”
Lion Lenworth James (Past President, Lions Eye Bank, Immediate Past President, Laurelton) announces that his father-in-
law, Mr. Walter George Edwards has completed his earthly assignments and has been called to return to eternity.

Lion Hattie Owusu (Mid Bedford Heights) is in deep anguish over the death of her beloved husband. “True love never
dies, and earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.”
Lion Dino Anarga (Vice President, South Ozone Park Empire City Medical) is in a state of agony because of the loss of
his two sisters. We remember him and his family with our love and prayers during this season of grief and pain. And
may their souls rest in eternal peace.
Lion Dr. Monica Sanchez (Queens Elite) announces that her beloved father, Mr. Claude Wesley Josiah has slipped away
peacefully and fallen into an eternal sleep. He will be missed but his legacy will be remembered with great affection,
warmth and pride.
