I also share with you the win- ners of our Christmas 2016 “We Wish You a Merry Christ- mas” Parade.
For those winter nights when you are wanting comfort food. I shared a recipe for Lasagna. I think I will have to make it myself along with garlic toast.
I also want to thank my fellow Lion members who made me cry in the first meeting of De- cember when you presented me with the “Jack Weich Fel- low” Award.

Happy New Year PELC!!
2017 is going to be an exciting year. Not only do we have a member celebrating his 50th year; But Lions is Celebrating their 100th year.
We have an awesome group in Plano East. The Laughter, Love and caring that our Club shows to each other and the Community is something I hope everyone is proud to be a part of.
In this issue I share the excite- ment of a young man who Enjoys his time at the Texas Lions Camp, our President who was able to Visit the Rose Bowl in California. I also
got to know our member cele- brating his 50th year in Lions.

Sim stated he would like to learn sign language and work with those who have hearing impairments.
He has also been studying Karate and has a First Degree Black Belt as well as an Or- ange Belt in Jiu Jitsu.

Meet Sim Scott -
Our Club had the honor of meeting Sim during Saturdays meeting (1/07/2017).
Sim enjoys going to the Texas Lions Camp and was awarded Best Camper in 2016. He is eager to go this year and smiled when he spoke of it.
Not only is he a great camper he is soaring through school at a top speed. He is in 9th grade and is also taking college courses from Collin
