A Quiet Moment, Ethiopian Monastery - 1998
Deir es-Sultan, more commonly known as the Ethiopian Monastery, has changed hands over the centuries. The ruins of
cloisters from the Crusader periods are clearly evident and provide ghostly backdrops to the contemplative figures, silently
at prayer and quietly meditating.
