Man of the Desert, Sinai - 1998
A sense of quiet contentment can be so elusive. We need little more for this life. Wherever we come from, our needs are quite universal. Except, some of us have managed to keep peace at bay with all our frenzied activity, ignoring the quiet calling in our own hearts to enter that place of rest. But as with any threshold we have to know the door. I am reminded of that scripture, “Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut”.
