I am thankful for everyone who has accompanied me and went through these years with me, my friends, my family, my classmates, my advisor and all of my teachers. These years we've went through a lot, we've been frustrated about our studies but during those hard times we knew we weren't alone. We have also had many good times and I don’t need to talk too much about that.
The end has come to my high school journey without me ever feeling or noticing it to come, time passes too fast and now a new beginning is about to start. If I would ever describe my feelings when I realized that I am graduating, I felt nervous, maybe excited, but rather than that, I felt lost. Graduation to me means leaving what I have been used to, and months from now, I will be in a strange place. I’m set adrift and I’m all on my own, it seems like there is a direction but there is no answer to what and where will my future lead me to. That is exactly how I felt. Some of my classmates may feel the same, some of you who are reading this may experience this in the future, some of you may have experienced this feeling already. But then I figured out that, indeed I am on my own, and I should be the one to choose my own direction. I would like to quote a sentence from Les Brown, he said “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” That may sound somehow unrealistic, but what I’m trying to say is, be brave and at least try to be who we wanted to be.
Definitely I’ll be missing these days in High school, but let us just say that, someday we will meet again amongst the stars.
