Series I and II Modern Heater Core
Manufactured by XKs Unlimited. Original heater cores were produced using an obsolete

“expanded tube” design. They performed poorly as there was little contact between the thin
ins and the water tubes. This core is made with “tube and in” technology, where several layers of
folded aluminum in are sandwiched between wide, lat tubes and then topped with header tanks.

The entire assembly is oven brazed so that a much greater surface area of ins is welded to the tubes,
resulting in far higher eiciency.

While we purchase parts from vendors on four continents, XKs Unlimited
is not simply a re-seller. Over the past eight years, we have devoted considerable resources to manufacturing previously unavailable

Jaguar parts. Indeed, if one includes all the kits we package, XKs Unlimited now manufactures more than 1,000 part numbers.

What we make runs the gamut from the smallest gasket to big-ticket items like alloy radiators and stainless steel exhaust headers. Many
of our parts have long been discontinued by Jaguar, such as the Series I E-Type clutch master cylinder we introduced last September or

the cylinder block drain tap we brought to market several years ago. One of our newest projects is Cheney-style hose clamps, an item
that has not been available for decades.

In other cases, we simply were not satisied with the quality ofered by other vendors. Our Series I E-Type and MK II water pumps, for
instance, have such nice casting quality that they weigh several pounds less than other reproductions. Our E-Type clutch luid reservoir

has nice crisp features and even includes a ilter – just like the originals and an XKs Unlimited exclusive.

In a host of other cases, we have far surpassed the quality of original parts. Our tensioner pulleys, for instance, employ sealed bearings
in place of the unshielded originals and our composite exhaust manifold gaskets cope with imperfect mating surfaces and difering

expansion rates much better than originals.
