Updated Nitrophyl S.U. Carburetor Float

Our Nitrophyl loat for the Stromberg carburetors has been so successful that we decided to ap-
ply the same thinking to the SU loat. Nitrophyl is a thoroughly modern material that’s impervi-
ous to fuel additives and won’t crack or absorb fuel. A center tube and end plates made from

brass provide wear surfaces. Gone are the problems with stress cracks and solder joints! These it
all Jaguars with SU H6, HD6 and HD8 carburetors and a host of other British cars. Thousands sold!

Viton® Carburetor Diaphragms
If you have had problems with carburetor diaphragms disintegrating in modern fuels, we

are happy to report that those days are over. Older diaphragms were made from a number
of materials that simply could not withstand the additives in today’s fuels. Our main jet/
diaphragms are made from DuPont Viton B and are up to the task. (Don’t forget, however,
that the best maintenance for your Jaguar’s fuel system is regular use.)

Modern Carburetor Float,
Series II and Series III
Like our loat for the SU carbs, this part is molded from Nitrophyl, a

thoroughly modern material that’s impervious to modern fuels and
additives. Original loats are assembled from two halves. Unfortunate-

ly, they often split along the seam and ill with fuel. At that point
they cease to, well, loat. Being molded from a single piece of

material, our version eliminates that problem forever. Manufac-
