2024 has been an exciting and rewarding year for the Science Department and I am
humbled to be able to contribute to the sixth edition of the Golden Chronicles. The
department was saddened to farewell Mrs. Chand and Mrs. Waqa and we wish them
well in their future endeavours. But our department is fortunate to be joined by two
new teachers Mr. Sunia Wasei and Mr. Viliame Driti.

Science plays a vital role in many careers, offering a wide range of opportunities.
Fields such as medicine, engineering, technology, environmental science, and
research are just a few examples, meaning there are plenty of job options available.
One of the key contributions of science is driving innovation. Careers in tech and
engineering often rely on scientific principles to develop new products and solutions,
helping industries advance. Additionally, science helps us understand natural
phenomena, which is crucial for fields like healthcare and environmental protection.
This knowledge can lead to careers that
have a positive impact on society.
