ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Luke 1.37 With God nothing is impossible.
As we end this academic Year, we reflect on our
journey on this Golden Chronicles for the Year 2024.
This year has been a rollercoaster ride with
challengers and obstacles that was OVERCOME
only through our Lord Jesus Christ. As the
Assistant Principal my responsibilities included the
welfare of the student’s issues relating to student
welfare, discipline, including organized school-based programmes for improvement
in student performance.
In an ongoing effort to enhance the educational experience we have launched several
initiatives like “Loloma program” whereby we collected donations from our current
and former teachers and also donors who donated Uniforms for our students in need.
Donations included Sulu Vakataga, Uniforms for Girls and Boys, Pre-loved Towels,
Preloved Clothes, Bula shirts and School Sandals. Thus, appreciation to all our
donors for the donation. Another initiatives was the application of our Y13
Scholarship Drive and monitoring students’ performance when they join University.
A Nilsen College Club was also formed by Old Scholars in University this year to
empower, encourage and support current Y13 students when they join in next year.
In closing, I want to extend my gratitude to all the students, staff and families for
making Nilsen College a phenomenal place to learn and grow.
I leave you with the words from: Joshua 1:9 Be strong and Courages. Do not be afraid;
do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
I wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Smashing New Year.
Warm Wishes
