Aruba’s Taekwondo team MONDAY afternoon ex world
visited Grand Master Shin
Chul Khan in Suwon, Korea champion Henk Meijer who is
currently guiding the Brazil Tae-
kwondo Foundation team took
the athletes to Kang’s Taekwondo
Namchang Dojang, which be-
longs to Grand Master Shin Chul
Kang in Suwon, Korea.
Grand Master Shin Chul Kang is
a huge Taekwondo world legend.
He has the highest rank in the
world higher than 9-dan.
Gran Master Shin Chul Khan
founded the Iranian Taekwondo
Federation, and coached the Ira-
nian team; he helped the Iranian
team rank 1st in the male in the
World category. At the begin-
ning Iran had about 30 thousand
people practicing Taekwondo but
they currently have 1.7 million
people practicing the Taekwondo
sport.
Besides all of this Grand Master
Shin Chul Khan has his own Tae-
kwondo museum. The museum
he has many Taekwondo pictures
making this a complete gallery.
He also visited many countries
around the world and was fea-
tured in many magazines.
He gives private lessons and lives
around the world, so he never
stays in just one place. His favor-
ite place is Iran; he spends a lot
of time there when he is training
the students. Grand Master Shin
Chul Kang wrote many books
about Taekwondo and made
many Taekwondo tutorial videos.
Grand Master shin Chul Kang
plays a very important and big
role representing Korea on the
Discovery Channel. His daughter
is Poomsee world champion.
It was an honor and a great ex-
perience for the Train Hard Fight
Smart team along with Henk
Meijer to visit Grand Master Shin
Chul Kang at his Dojang. The
team was welcomed with open
doors and was treated very well.
Grand Master Shin Chul Kang is
visited by many people from all
around the world daily. His Moo-
Duk-Kwan style still dominates
today.
