GTA6 leaked online

YESTERDAY on the 18 of September, a game play started circulating online that suppos-
th
edly showed early footage of Grand Theft Auto 6. Allegedly a hacker successfully obtained

mass quantities of data from a Slack account from a Rockstar employee through phishing .
At present, these allegations are yet to be confirmed, but if this was true, then it’s GG. If
this leak was proven legit, the entire GTA 6 project is blown wide open. This will most
likely cause a delay in the development of the game, and this one of the most HIGHLY

anticipated games and almost a decade after GTA5 launched.
Popular games reporter James Schreirer posted a tweet regarding alleged leak,
but so far Rockstar Gaming has not released an official statement but the owner
of Rockstar Games has been issuing takedown notices regarding the leak posted

online.

Afternoon update:

A $100,000 scam took place
due to this whole incident. The
hacker who goes by the name
“Tea Pot” announced that they

weren’t selling GTA6 source
codes, but is willing to sell the
GTA5 source code.
With this, someone used the

hacker’s name and sold GTA5
source code to an unknown
buyer.
