FESTIVAL

Celebration

ARUBA National Archeological Museum invites everyone to
their “Festival di Injian” (Indian Festival). This will take place on
Sunday July 26, 2015 at the Archeological Museum. This event is
to celebrate Archeological Museums’ 6th anniversary.
This festive activity will be from 10 in the morning to 2 in the
afternoon and entrance is free.

The museum will dedicate a platform to up-and-coming artists
that wish to make their public debut. If you want to perform on
this day feel free to call 582-8979.

Come join Archeological Museum in this event, there will be face
painting, you can imprint your body with Indian symbols and
make Indian accessories with recycled material.
There will be live music, typical Aruban snacks provided by
Aruban Historical Museum (Fort Zoutman).
Archeologist Raymundo Dijkhoff will give a speech followed by a
tour about Shamanism beginning at 11.30 in the morning.

The Archeological Museum will provide three busses leaving
from different neighborhoods to transport visitors to the Indian
Festival. Keep in mind that space in the bus is limited.
Join us in our Indian Festival and participate to win an
Archeological expedition with an expert in Archeology.

other groups in the festival call 582-8979.
Starting July 21 till August 7 Archeological Museum will host its
own camp for kids ages 6 to 13. Space in this camp is very limited.
