Worlds 2022:

WORLDS has come to an end
Saturday night, with the last competi-
tive match of the year being LCK’s T1
and DRX in a best of 5 fighting for the

new summoners cup. I almost missed
the match, having the Blackout happen
right when the opening ceremony was
about to begin. Thankfully, the games

lasted up to game 5, Silverscrapes!

When I tuned in, they were both 1-1,
and game 3 was fairly even, suddenly it

went to T1’s favor, and they took game
3. Game 4 was a match point for T1,
just one more game and Faker would
have finally regained the ownership of

the summoner’s cup, and would have
been the 4 championship for T1. But
th
DRX was not going down without a
fight, and fight they did! Kingen, DRX

top laner was a beast on Aatrox.
DRX was so ahead of the game in
game 4 that T1 could not do anything,
resulting in DRX taking the win.

Game 5 was all or nothing. With both
teams just needing one more win
to become world champions 2022.

Although T1 Started off good, they
started falling behind after a while.
Kingen again on his Aatrox and Zeka
with some really great ulties. But T1

is also not going down without a fight.
After a team fight with just T1 Gumayusi
and Zeus up, they pull of a nice Baron
steal, and it seemed like T1 was about

to take over the game.

It all came down to the fight in the Elder
Dragon, T1 Zeus and Faker, teleported

to DRX base, and tried to backdoor. But As they said “A true Cinderella story”, to ever do it, the first world champion-
