Natural Pool Mangel Halto
Located in the Arikok Park and you must have a 4by4 Jeep to explore the park. Last week I
was in the Park and I will not recommend anyone to swim at the Natural Pool in these days
due to big waves on the northern coast of the island. It can be dangerous, so please just go
to see it but not to swim at this time.
Seamen’s anchor at sunset
This beach is very unique and it’s the only place in Aruba where
you can see 8 shades of blue. Something I can tell you but it’s
something different when you see it by yourself. Mangel Halto is
very calm and swimming there is like being one with nature. Man-
gel Halto is also very good for snorkeling for beginners and more
advanced snorkelers. There are many mangroves and huts where
you can spend a nice couple of hours in the shade and meet some
locals too.
Rodger’s Beach
This beautiful anchor is a must see when going to Baby Beach and is located at the entrance This beach is very relaxed and a good beach if you love reading
of Seroe Colorado. A monument dedicated to all seamen and initiated by Charlie Brouns Jr books. There are a few huts and if you’re lucky you can have one
of Charlie”s Bar in San Nicolas. My grandfather Papa Fanchi was a seaman and I do have or share one with another family. This is where the local fishermen
much respect to all who dedicated their lives providing for the family by risking their own have their boats and you can catch pretty good fish at the little
lives at sea. Three of my grand uncles lost their lives in WW2 when being torpedoed, may pier at the entrance of Rodger’s Beach. On weekends Rodger’s
they rest in peace. Going north from the Red Anchor you will find Boca Grandi and this is one Beach is one of the best hideaways of local families. To reach this
of the best locations for kite surfing on the island. beach instead of going left to Baby Beach, you must go right and
follow the road till the end and you will experience this beauty.
