Sabrina and Sasha
Tie the Knot!
PALM BEACH - The hot Aru-
ba sun was shining and the
skies were perfectly clear...
an ideal day to get mar-
ried! Bride, Sabrina Mon-
serrate, and groom, Sasha
Kucherov could not wait
to see each other for their
first time that day, which
would be when Sabrina
walked down the aisle on
the beach at the Aruba
Marriott Resort.
Sabrina, a labor and de-
livery nurse, met Sasha,
an obstetrician/gynecolo-
gist, while working at Ein-
stein Medical Center in the
Bronx, New York.
Aruba has always been a
special place for Sabrina
and Sasha. They both
spent time on the island
with family when they were
growing up and it was the
destination of their first va-
cation as a couple.
Also, coincidentally, both
sets of parents enjoyed
their honeymoons in Aru-
ba.
The original plan was to
get married in upstate New
York in December 2016.
One year prior, the couple
thought, “why wait?” and
planned to get married in
Aruba 4 weeks later, on
January 23, 2016. Sabrina
was stunned by the profes-
sionalism of everyone she
contacted. She comment-
ed, “I can’t believe how it
all came together in three
weeks time! Between the
