Love says it all
ORANJESTAD — Harrison Pate for sure knows
how to be romantic and we are so lucky that he
shared a very special moment with us. While en-
joying their long-wanted vacation on Aruba Pate
surprised his fiancé Grace Kelley in an amazing
way. Aruba Today’s team melted away by hear-
ing his story and seeing the beautiful images that
express their love for each other.
“My fiancé Grace Kelley and I are from Char-
lotte, North Carolina and celebrated our two
year anniversary earlier this summer. We first
started dating while Grace was finishing uni-
versity. After graduation, she moved to Char-
lotte for her first job. Later that year, we bought
our first home and the rest is history. We love to
travel and have been looking forward to this
vacation for months. Little did Grace know, I
arranged for a private dinner sail on the Tran-
quilo with Anthony and Dwayne where I got
down on a knee (and managed not to drop
the ring overboard). We’ve loved our time in
Aruba and it will always have a special place
in our hearts. We look forward returning to the
island for many years to come. Cheers!”
We wish the lovely couple a world of happiness!
