Opening new Red Sail Sports store at Hilton Aruba

PALM BEACH - Aruba Red Sail Sports is a watersport cen-
ter that offers all-round activities. Dive, play, sail, snorkel
and shop are the ingredients of the water/fun mix that
they offer. Tuesday was a happy day for the company,
as they opened their new store at the Hilton Aruba Carib-
bean Resort & Casino.

Owner Peter de Hoop: “We are proud to expand our
company and very happy with this location.” The store is
located just on the beach side in the left corner of the ho-
tel’s premises. During the celebration De Hoop, together
with Hans Georg R, General Manager of the hotel, wel-
comed the guests. Some of them got real lucky as the
hotel gave away nice prices like dinner, spa treatment
and even overstays. The new Red Sail store has a classic,
beachy interior with a bright expression. It was in 1989,
that Red Sail Sports said “Bonbini” (“Welcome” in Papia-
mento) when they opened their first retail store at the
Hyatt Regency Resort. Over the past 25 years, they have
added nine more retail locations, and have established
three full-service dive and watersports centers. q
