The Dru Hill show was simply and outstand-
ing with a hint of Sisqo. Dru Hill sans Nokia
was in full effect. Remember when the
filled the airwaves? They churned out their
string of Top 20 R&B. Not to be outdone
curtain came down with the `Thong Song.’
And then came the Charlie, last name,
Wilson Experience.
The show that stole the show, Wilson was
new school Uncle Charlie, old school Gap
Band and a little testify at church.
Songs in the high-energy set included Gap
Band classics `Burn Rubber’and `Oustand-
ing’, and multitude of solo hits `There Goes
My Baby’ and `Charlie, Last Name Wilson.’
He bought, perhaps, the best ever night
to the Soul Beach Music Festival to a close
with another Gap Band classic `Yearning
For Your Love’ .q
