             Skip and Winnie Malmok

It’s great to meet couples that made Aruba their first vacation destination for
the last 30 years. Skip and Winnie are one of them. A lovely couple that came
this year to Aruba with 3 other couples. Winnie is like an octopus, she starts at
5am helping in the Resort kitchen and can be seen all over the resort during
the day. Skip is around the pool and has his own space under the tent with his
name and he serves as the best PR of our beautiful island. Aruba is the island with the sunniest days in the Caribbean and that is amazing.
Last days it’s been raining a little more than usual but still we have an average of
15 inches of rainfall all year round. As a photographer I always pay attention to
the sky and love when white clouds are available in the blue sky. I took this shot
Natural Bridge at The Point standing on the rocky-coastline at Malmok.
                                                                                                 Beach volleyball at Surfside

                                                                                                 Beach

There is more than one Natural Bridge on the island and this one of them located at The Point
how we locals call it. To reach this natural bridge you must go up the Colony Hill and when Eastern Vacation is around the corner and it’s the time of the year
at the top, walk toward the east coast and go down the cliff to see this beauty. Its dangerous to go camping. Surfside Beach will be covered by colorful tents,
going down the cliff but it’s an amazing view. Sightseeing tours don’t have this spot on their grandma and uncles cooking BBQ’s and beach games all day
schedule as far as I know. long. A local tradition for the last decades and sure a time to stop
by and make new friends and learn more about our culture.
