David Beckham’s Inter Miami Eyes Luka Modric for MLS Squad

CLUB co-owner David Beckham is report-
edly eager to bolster his team’s ranks with the
addition of Croatian international Luka Modric.
Beckham envisions Modric sharing the field with

Lionel Messi, creating an exciting prospect for
fans.

Modric recently extended his contract with

Real Madrid in June, tying him to the Santiago
Bernabeu until the upcoming summer. However,
his playing time in LaLiga this season has been
limited, with just one start, due to fierce compe-

tition in the midfield. Consequently, there are
murmurs that manager Carlo Ancelotti might
entertain offers for the 38-year-old in the January
transfer window, particularly if an offer arrives

from the MLS side.
Inter Miami, who have already acquired former
Barcelona stars Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba,
has also been linked with former Barcelona and

current Gremio forward Luis Suárez. Suárez, who
is currently with the Brazilian Serie A team, has
been mentioned as potentially available at the
conclusion of the league campaign.

Beckham’s ambition to assemble a star-studded
team at Inter Miami is becoming increasingly
evident, with Modric being the latest addition to

the list of marquee names associated with the
MLS club.
