Status there are two choices
*Newly Epithelialized (Maturation Phase)
• Completely epithelialized (closed) for 30 days or less
 No gap in incision line
• No s&s of infection
• No exudate
*Not healing
• Not completely epithelialized
• Presence of s/s of infection
• Exudate
• Periwound inflammation and or irritation
