Describing Possible Result Using ‘Conditional if’
The type of
conditional used to refer to
the present or future where
the situation is real is type
1. Type 1 conditional refers
to a possible condition and
its probable result. In these
sentences if clause is in the
simple present and the
main clauses is in the simple future. So, if this thing happens, that thing will
happen. For example:
If we research the market completely, then we will meet customer
demand.
If the products sell well, we will cut out prices to create more demand.
