Let’s get some practice!

Read the dialogue between Mr. Ramli, a librarian from the University Central Library, and Sela, a
university student. Identify Sela’s need to decide the right facilities and services to cater her.

Sela : “Hi, I'm working on a research paper and I'm not sure what resources the

library has that can help me. Can you point me in the right direction?”
Mr. Ramli : “Of course! What kind of help do you need?”

Sela : “Well, I'm having trouble finding the book I need from this library and I also

need a help to cite my sources properly as per the Uni’s thesis guideline.”

Mr. Ramli : “Okay, let's start with the citation issue. We have 1) ………………………………
on referencing system that can help you with that. We subscribe to several

citation management tools, including Mendeley and Zotero.”

Sela : “That would be great! How can I register for the account?”

Mr. Ramli : “It’s just happen that we’re going to hold a 2) ……………………………….. soon.
You might want to join it as in the event, we’re going to help you resgister and

tutor you how to use the app.”

Sela : “Sure, I’d love to.”

Mr. Ramli : “You can check the detailed information on the 3) ……………………… just
beside the main entrance, or you can also acess the information through our

website.”

Sela : “I’ll check it later. Thanks for letting me know.”

Mr. Ramli : “Good that I can help. And then, you also said that you can’t find a book you
want to read?”

Sela : “Yes, my professor said that I can get the book from the library, but I’ve been

searching throughout the entire 4) …………………. but ended up with no luck.

Can you have it check on the system? The title is ‘Architecture 101’.”
Mr. Ramli : “Owh… we only have limited number of the book and unfortunately all is

checked out right now.”
