Checklist for getting ready for international trips
I’m Amanda James. Last year I went on holiday to southern Spain with my best friends, Joanna and
Ling. After that holiday, I have learnt that preparation is important to get the best holiday
experience. I also have realized that international travel is fun and rewarding, but getting ready to go,
particularly if you haven’t travelled often can be a lot of work. The key is to start getting ready early
so that you aren’t rushed, and leave for your trip feeling rested and prepared.
Here are some tips for an international trip that I usually do.
One month before departure
The first important thing to prepare is checking your Passports.
It’s important for you to check the expiration date a month
before your trip. If you don’t have a passport, you should apply
for one directly. Second, look at visa requirements. You should
check if you need a visa for a country that you want to visit.
Make sure that you have time to apply for it before you buy
your tickets. Then you need to look at the packing list. If there is
