Activity 2. Finding the main idea of
each paragraph
Decide the main idea of each paragraph.
Do these steps:
1. Divide the class into two big groups.
2. Read the part of passage provided
Group A gets Part 1 https://bit.ly/Unit4_ReadingText_Part1;
Group B gets Part 2 https://bit.ly/Unit4_ReadingText_Part2.
3. In each group, find the main idea and record the answer of each paragraph.
4. Regroup the class into pairs consisting of one from Group A and one from Group B.
5. Exchange information that you have found to your partner in the new group.
6. Discuss the main ideas of both parts with the class.
