Exercise 8  Peer editing a first draft



                     After  you  write  your  first  draft,  exchange  it  with  a  partner.  Answer  the
                     questions on the checklist provided below. Write comments or questions for
                     your partner. Then read your partner’s comments about your first draft and
                     revise it as necessary.

                          Put a check (✔) as appropriate. Write answers in complete sentences in the
                          lines provided.
                           1. Does the introduction include an interesting hook?
                           2. Does the introduction include the titles of the articles and the authors of

                              the articles?
                           3. How did the writer respond to the article? Circle the corresponding ones.
