eyes are (5) __________ but sparkling. He also has dimples on his cheeks.
Tama : Wow! With that personality and appearance, I bet everybody likes him.
Manda : You are right. Everybody likes him.

b. Imagine that, on your way home from campus, you witness someone getting robbed. Help
the policeman find the robber by describing his/her appearance.

How to do it:
✓ Work in pairs. One of you acts as the witness, and the other acts as the
policeman.
✓ The witness receives a card containing a photograph of the robber from the
teacher. Do not show the card to the policeman.
✓ The policeman has a list of suspects with their pictures. Do not show the list to
the witness.
✓ The policeman asks the witness to identify which one among the list of suspects
is the robber.
Example questions:
• Is the robber a man?
• How does he look like?
• Is his hair long?
• What does he wear?
• Once the policeman is sure which one is the robber, the policeman can show the
photo from the list to the witness to confirm.
Example on how to confirm:
• Is this the person?
• Do you think this man is the robber?
