1. Identification ➔ Introduce the subject you want to describe
➔ Give the name, category/type, and general information
➔ Examples:
• One of my favorite restaurants is Waroeng Steak & Shake.
• My grandmother is a kind and cheerful woman.
• Bali is one of the most beautiful islands in Indonesia.
2. Description ➔ Describe the subject in detail
• Appearance (size, shape, color, features)
• Qualities/Character (personality, atmosphere, mood)
• Parts/Components (rooms in a place, areas of a club, features of
an object)
• Activities/Functions (what the subject does or is used for)
• Skills/Benefits (what you learn, gain, or enjoy from it)
