a Work in pairs. Choose one of the scenarios below and write a dialogue
on giving suggestion.
Scenario 1
A man is admitted in your unit. He is suffering from anorexia nervosa. He has an obsessive fear of
gaining weight, refusal to maintain a healthy body weight and an unrealistic perception of body
image. He fiercely limit the quantity of food they consume and view himself as overweight, even
when he is clearly underweight. Discuss the alternative medication or therapy solution with your
partner and perform it in dialogue.
Scenario 2
While you are working in outpatient ward, one of the patient approaches you and asks your opinion
about alternative medication. She describes her illness to you. She says that she is experiencing a
shortness of breath. She also feels pain in her chest. From her description, you know that she has
asthma. Now, perform a conversation with your partner about the solution of alternative
medication/therapy for asthma.
Scenario 3
On your ward, you see one of patient have just done consultation with a doctor. However, he seems
really worried about his health. You approach him, and ask what he worries about. He tells you that
he really concerns about his high blood pressure. Then, he ask you about the alternative solution for
his illness. perform a conversation with your partner about the solution of alternative
medication/therapy.
