BURANO.

It’s a beautiful island off the coast of Venice, Italy….where we just happened to find ourselves over the summer while on our

honeymoon. Though most tourists are more familiar with the neighboring island of Murano, Burano is famous for lace and
for their colorful houses, thoughtfully painted to guide the local fisherman home in the fog and darkness after a long day.
As we refined our line of handbags and accessories, the more fun we had adding colors, the more we thought about the

perfect name for the line B • U • R • A • N • O. We found inspiration in this magical, artistic place.
