Charitable Contribution Deduction for Electing Small Business Trusts
Overview
Introduction
The change made by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA) allows an Electing Small Business Trust (ESBT) to
compute its deduction for charitable contributions passed through by an S corporation using the rules applicable to
an individual.
Objectives
At the end of this lesson, you will be able to describe how the changes made by the TCJA affects the charitable
