Flat Spotting Tires
Check at all times could be due to cold weather or rust
When parked overnight or picking up a different trailer that has been in the cold weather please check the following.
*Release truck and trailer brakes
*While moving forward swerve your truck to the left and right until you see all trailer tires are rolling (not skidding) Only takes a couple feet to see this
* In tight areas, Pull ahead 2 feet get out and check for skids *If the tires are not rolling STOP the truck immediately.
*Set your truck brakes
*Release Trailer brakes
*Knock on the brake drum until it sounds like a hollow bell. This means the brake shoes have released
* If you try from the backside of the tire must hit behind the dust cover If you cannot get the hollow bell sound. Please call the shop for help
