Demurrage Policy
Foltz Trucking tries to be as fair as possible in regards to wait times at shippers and consignees. To qualify for our new demurrage policy:

• Must make scheduled loading/delivery appointments to qualify for demurrage.
** Failure to notify dispatch may decrease the amount of demurrage paid** The policy is as follows:
After 2 hours, company drivers will receive $20/hour-not to exceed $280 per day. After 2 hours, owner operators will receive $30/hour-not to exceed $420 per day.
Example: Ifyoustartyourdaydrivingat6:00a.m.,arriveattheshipperatnoonbutdon'tget loaded until 10 p.m.

-2 hours free
-2 hours (hours of service ran out at 8p.m. even though you waited until 10 p.m.)
= 6 hours billable
OR
Company drivers: 6 hrs. X $20/hour = $120 Owner operators: 6 hrs. X $30/hour = $180
Pay is based upon available hours to work for that day. Sit for a full 24 hours driver will receive max pay for the day. Circumstances beyond 24 hours will be a running clock.

o Load#, Business name, City, Time of arrival, Appointment time
Please send an email once you have reached 90 minutes after arrival o This give dispatch time to contact the customer
Please reply to the original arrival email once you are empty or loaded
