2020 Bank On Washington Forum Speakers

Jenny Walden, United Way of King County

Jenny Walden is the Associate Director, Ending Poverty at United
Way of King County where she leads a portfolio of hunger and
poverty alleviation programs focused on leveraging underutilized
federal, state, and local resources to increase income and disrupt
poverty. Jenny holds a Masters in Social Work degree specialized in
Administration and Policy from the University of Washington. Jenny
leads one of the largest free tax preparation programs in the nation,
is currently mobilizing United Way’s COVID-19 hunger response
efforts, and oversees strategy and implementation for United Way’s
Bridge to Finish Campaign, which partners with ten Community and
Technical Colleges to increase student persistence and completion.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending
time with her partner and daughter.
