And yes there is POVERTY in Africa
According to World Bank calculations of GNI per capita as per 2018
(per capita is the dollar value of a COUNTRY's final income in a year, divided by its population).
• Of the 26 countries in this category, 23 are in Africa.
• 589 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa live without electricity. It's said that many women
and children have no option but to walk more than 3km daily to collect water for their
household.
But Africa's potential for WEALTH CREATION is rising...

Africa's Strategic Importance
Strategically Africa is the most centrally located place on earth. It is already a political and
economic 'battleground' for many non-African nations. The 'fight' is primarily motivated by
a desire for monopolistic access to Africa's resources.
Africa is probably the world's richest continent in terms of
Unexploited mineral resources 85
The continent has the largest reserves of precious metals with over 40% of known gold
reserves, over 60% of known cobalt reserves, and 90% of known platinum reserves as well
as iron, uranium, copper, bauxite and silver. Some estimates suggest that only c 20% of
subsoil minerals in Africa have been discovered so far.
Uncultivated cropland.
With 22% of Earth’s landmass, Africa holds 60 per cent of the world's uncultivated cropland
(But some studies suggest that only a small part of this is suitable for intensive cultivation)
Untapped waterpower potential
