went on to use Wikipedia to explore for themselves some of my subject matter in greater

detail.

Wikipedia is one of the few sources that we can realistically believe might be

available to ordinary people. I myself have been surprised at just how much information
can be found in Wikipedia for even the most non-mainstream topics I researched. The

width and depth of detail available can be quite astounding. I have had few reasons to

question the general level of accuracy of the content for the subjects I have been
interested in.

(Just as a passing observation, I would say that the depth of detail to be found in Wikipedia
across a very wide range of topics related to my narrative suggests to me that some of you, or
perhaps others working in your institutions, have yourselves contributed heavily to specific 'wiki'
pages. If so, well done!)

Finally, some statistics that I have quoted may well have changed since I started my first

draft. I have merely used statistics in my narrative in order to illustrate key points and also

to give a better sense of perspective. I am confident that any subsequent changes in the
statistics won't have had any meaningful impact on my overall narrative.
