China is now considered an emerging global superpower in economy, military,

technology, diplomacy and soft power influence "

                                                                                                    Wikipedia

            Suzerainty
“ Suzerainty is a relationship in which one state or other polity controls the foreign policy
and relations of a tributary state, while allowing the tributary state to have internal

                  autonomy.

Suzerainty differs from sovereignty in that the tributary state is technically independent,

but enjoys only limited self-rule. Although the situation has existed in a number of
historical empires, it is considered difficult to reconcile with 20th- or 21st-century
concepts of international law, in which sovereignty is a binary which either exists or does

not. While a sovereign state can agree by treaty to become a protectorate of a stronger
power, modern international law does not recognise any way of making this relationship

compulsory on the weaker power. Suzerainty is a practical, de facto situation, rather than
a legal, de jure one "

                                                                                               "Suzerainty." 22
                                                                                                    Wikipedia
            Regional Power

" In international relations since the late 20th century, a regional power is a term used for
a state that has power within a geographic region. States which wield unrivalled power
and influence within a region of the world possess regional hegemony."

                                                                                           "Regional Power." 23
                                                                                                    Wikipedia

            Sphere of Influence

predominant control over a foreign area or territory. The term may refer to a political
claim to exclusive control, which other nations may or may not recognize as a matter of

fact, or it may refer to a legal agreement by which another state or states pledge
