Welcome to Boston and our 2022 Mid-Year Meeting!

It’s wonderful to be together in person, our second time in a row! Our mid-year meeting is being held at an
exciting time. There has never been more attention directed around the specialty program space. When
Target Markets began in 2001, program business was a small, slice of the insurance industry. Today we are
a $50 billion plus segment and growing fast. The demand for specialized products underwritten by program
managers has never been greater!
In the next few days, you will meet with each other, forging new and renewing old relationships. Information
will be shared, opportunities uncovered. There is no more efficient and enjoyable way to network than at a
Target Markets meeting. We are glad you are here!

Target Market’s speakers and presenters are always top drawer, and this year is no exception. J. Powell
Brown, CEO of Brown and Brown, Inc., will be our industry speaker on Monday. Powell has built an incredible
record over the past 13 years leading Brown and Brown to exceptional growth. We are excited to hear his
insights and thoughts about where our business is heading.

We are also delighted that Bill Belichick, legendary Head Coach of the New England Patriots will be
addressing us on Tuesday. Coach Belichick is always an interesting speaker, to say the least. After 47 years
as an NFL Coach and 23 with the Patriots – not to mention six Super Bowl rings – the coach has a lot to talk
about. His presentation is sure to be one to remember.

In addition to these two headliners, our meeting offers some exceptional presentations. At our Town Hall
meeting on Monday, we will take a close look at PA/Carrier agreements, a topic of great importance to us all.
On Tuesday, assessing the financial strength of fronting carriers and their reinsurers will be discussed. And on
Wednesday, the all-important topic of artificial intelligence in our industry will be tackled. These subjects and
others await you this week.
