Welcome to our Summit Week Virtual Event!
Dear Program Business Colleagues:
In these unprecedented times we, as leaders of our businesses, are forced to adapt to our new realities. We can
view this with resentment and anger, perhaps even denial, or embrace that the wind has shifted and we need to
adjust our sails. In doing so, we make ourselves better leaders while building more resilient businesses staffed
with a battle-hardened team. The show goes on as they say, and so does our annual Target Markets Summit,
albeit virtually. Given the changes we’re all living through, I believe there’s never been a more important time
to educate, communicate, and network with your industry peers.
At Target Markets, we’ve turned to a virtual forum in a way that’s intended to still deliver the core value of our
association meetings—great content and networking with your industry peers. We’ve truncated the presentations
to better fit a virtual setting and plan to provide the content that we believe you will find to be most valuable.
Our speakers and presenters for the 2020 Virtual Summit include an impressive list of industry leaders.
• Dr. Robert Hartwig will be discussing how the economic impact of COVID-19 will present significant
and long-term challenges to the insurance industry.
• Pina Albo from Hamilton Insurance Group will discuss why harnessing technology, talent and
culture are critical components of agility and success.
• Paul White from Wilson Elser will review COVID-19 legal implications for the insurance industry
and your program.
• John Neal, CEO of Lloyd’s, will outline adjustments the Lloyd’s market has implemented to address
business within a pandemic and review the future at Lloyd’s and trends for the market and
insurance industry.
• Ivy Kusinga, Chief Culture and Talent Officer at Chubb, will provide insights into attracting and
retaining your best workforce.
In addition to our workshops and presentations, we’re working hard to facilitate carrier and service provider
meetings through our Meeting Request forms on the Association website. Furthermore, we will review and
discuss updates about the Association, our charitable causes, and Target University.
On behalf of the TMPAA Advisory Board and the entire Target Markets team, we appreciate your support and
look forward to “seeing” you at our virtual conference.
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Pesce
