Welcome to the 25th Annual Summit!
The fall season brings with it a host of familiar traditions, and for our industry, the season would be incomplete without a stop
in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona for the TMPAA Annual Summit. On behalf of the TMPAA staff and advisory board, I am pleased to
welcome you back to the Westin Kierland Resort for another exciting event.
If you’ve noticed a theme in these letters over the years, it’s this: the association continues to set new records for attendance.
The 25th Annual Summit is no exception, closing in on 2,000 attendees.
Program Administrators continue to play an expanding role in the insurance ecosystem, alongside carriers, reinsurers, brokers,
and vendors who support the industry. Members consistently tell us that the Summit remains the premier venue to meet
decision-makers, build relationships, and participate in high-value content tailored to our business. Because member feedback
drives how we structure these conferences, TMPAA has chosen to forego a keynote speaker this year and instead dedicate
Tuesday’s General Session to a review of the 2025 Program Business Study Results. Past TMPAA president Chris Pesce will lead
a presentation on the findings in a comprehensive session you won’t want to miss.
At Monday’s General Session, we are honored to welcome industry titan Brian Duperreault, Chairman of Cedar Trace Limited.
Brian’s distinguished career spans more than 50 years, including executive leadership roles at some of the world’s foremost
insurance organizations. He served as CEO of global insurer AIG and led the world’s largest brokerage, Marsh & McLennan,
for four years. Brian will share his unparalleled insights and experience with us—this is a session you’ll want to attend.
Lloyd’s continues to be a cornerstone of the program space, with nearly $3 billion of premium placed into Lloyd’s by TMPAA
members. Whether you’re already trading in the London market or seeking new capacity, you’ll find opportunities at the
Lloyd’s Open House on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Fifteen Lloyd’s syndicates will be in attendance, ready to answer your questions
and explore opportunities.
Identifying and cultivating the next generation of talent is critical to the future of our industry. TMPAA is proud to host the
Student Open House on Tuesday, an exclusive event designed to connect you with tomorrow’s leaders. This is your chance to
engage with top students from Risk & Insurance programs across the country, discuss career paths and internships, and see
how their academic training is preparing them for success. Take advantage of this opportunity to network with emerging
professionals, share your company’s vision, and even collect resumes from motivated candidates eager to join the industry.
This year also marks the end of my tenure as president of the TMPAA Advisory Board. Serving in this role over the past two
years has been both a privilege and a pleasure. I am deeply grateful to the staff and my fellow board members for their
trust and support. Looking ahead, the association is in excellent hands with Brian Cohen, who will assume the role in 2026.
Brian is a dedicated industry veteran whose generosity of time, expertise, and resources has strengthened both our profession
and this organization. Please join me in congratulating Brian as he leads TMPAA into its next chapter.
As always, the TMPAA Summit would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, exhibitors, and most importantly,
our members. On behalf of the TMPAA board, staff, and valued sponsors, we welcome you and wish you a productive and
memorable 25th Annual Summit.
