3. PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN DEVELOPING
COUNTRIES
a. Poverty Problem
Poverty is a manifestation of conditions and shortcomings.
Each country has a poverty limit that is different from other
countries. The Indonesian government is paying serious
attention to overcoming the problem of poverty experienced
by society.
b. Problems of Underdevelopment
Judging from the aspect of technological mastery,
Indonesia is still categorized as a developing country, other
characteristics are:
Low level of equality and income
Low level of progress and health services
Low level of community discipline
Lack of labor productivit
c. Capital Shortage Problem
Lack of capital is an important characteristic of every
country starting the development process. This lack of capital
not only hinders the acceleration of economic development
that can be implemented but can cause difficulties for the
country to escape poverty.
