Overview
Justine McKeen is the Queen of Green! She has noticed a
disturbing trend at her school that she would like to
change~ Vehicle Idling. Every morning and afternoon, parents idle their vehicles in front
of the school polluting the air.
Through this story, students gain an understanding of how idling a vehicle can impact
health and the environment and what strategies can be employed to reduce the
number of vehicles idling outside of school (walking to school, awareness campaign
idling laws, etc)
This book is an excellent introduction to starting an Anti-Idling campaign.
