Robotics Astronomy club
12 girls of the Lego robotics after school activity
participated in the official First Lego League Robotics
competition. Not only did the girls have to solve
challenging tasks with their robots. They also
presented a possible solution for one of the problems On the 6th of November 2019, the 11th Grade Tawjihi Art section and the 11th Grade Abitur,
related to this year’s topic “city shaper”. went together to Birzeit University to take a look and learn about the astronomy club which
was established in 2014 by Eight students who won the membership in UNESCO Chair for
astronomy, astrophysics and space physics. There they provided us with insights into the
Earth, stars and Galaxies, etc.. We also had the opportunity to look through the telescope
and also we were able to see the largest telescope in Palestine. We had so much fun there and
learned new information that we didn’t even think about, or even know that they actually
exist. We were really fascinated by the technology they have.
