settle for the easiest market in which to sell.
5. Treat your producers with care. Cull out the low producers.
6. Help and encourage your kids but let them work, think and grow.
7. Having animals that must be cared for each morning and each
evening, without fail, is an excellent discipline for a young per-
son.
All these lessons were taught to me quietly, with only an occasional sug-
gestion. Dad always showed a continuing interest in what I was doing,
but he let me make my own decisions and do the work myself. A superb
teacher!
