Key Terminology Overview
Account: Account records store critical information about customers we service. Information includes company details,
addresses, assets, and agreements.
Parent Account: Used for Billing
Service Location: Main Plant
Contact: Contact records store contact, marketing, and personal information for Contacts associated with an Account.
Timeline: A date stamped view of activities such as notes and posts.
Assets, Sub-assets: A piece of equipment that is located at a customer’s site in the field.
Agreement: a sort of template for generating work orders and invoices that is similar to a contract
Work Order: Describes and details the facets of a service call: where to go, what needs to be done, what parts are used,
who is doing the work, and so forth.
Schedule Board: The schedule board provides an overview of resource availability and bookings you can make. Before
you use the schedule board; it is important to be aware of the views and filters in place.
Incident Type: Incident types act as service templates and allow users to quickly create work orders for the most
common types of jobs that your company performs.
Service Activity; Contains details and characteristics for a scheduled service appointment.
Data Sheets/Asset Attributes & Measurements: Contains the technical characteristics of a customer asset.
