Digital Divide

Parents have been struggling to connect with teachers and their students
when it comes to their child’s schoolwork. Today’s presentation will
focus on showcasing a few websites and apps that will help parents with
connecting with their student and teachers. These few websites and
apps will help parents not only connect with their student and help with
homework, but also with teachers in order to help foster a better
relationship between parents, their students, and teachers.
We Are In This Together

The goal of the workshop is to reiterate to parents that the district
recognizes the struggle is real. While providing space to hear from
parents, we hope to share with them resources within the district that are
readily available to them. As parents share some of the needs they see
we will provide space for these parent participants to offer ideas that
may be useful to others during this time.
Desired Outcome:
The outcome for this workshop is to create an interest in future
workshops and gatherings that would strengthen the relationship
between the parents and the educators and ultimately an amazing
educational experience for the children.
