MR M: A MESSAGE FROM THE TUTOR
I gained my teaching qualifications in United Kingdom and I am am expert at teaching children between the ages of 5 to 11 years old in all core and foundation primary subjects. I have nine years teaching experience, having previously taught both the British national and IB curriculums in the United Kingdom, Qatar, and for the last four years, in the U.A.E.
I would describe my character as whole hearted and positive. I believe in a holistic approach to learning that focuses on your child’s happiness, safety and of course, academic performance.
A leading author and consultant, Simon Sinek once stated, "When we help ourselves, we find moments of happiness. When we help others, we find lasting fulfilment". This philosophy underpinned my reasons for wanting to become a passionate class teacher, or facilitator of learning as I would now define my profession. After reflecting on my time as an educator of young people, here are some of the lessons I have learned on my journey, and lessons which I will develop in your child.
Believe in yourself, set high expectations, help and respect one another, prepare to take risks, fail big, but persist! Put 100% effort into everything that you do and collaborate at each step. I am passionate about helping young learners develop, and I will help your child cultivate a growth mind-set where, through regular quality practice, problems are viewed as challenges, an exciting opportunity to grow rather than something to be feared.
Success Stories (names have been changed):
-
"I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr M through a year of teaching my son. He is a driven and organised teacher who develops inspiring relationships with his students. His ability to connect with his students and his talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics are truly superior."
-
"Your commitment, dedication and passion for teaching is something I am hugely grateful for. Every time I interact with you I can see how much you genuinely care about the children and how passionate you are about learning and teaching. As a parent you cannot ask for anything more than that for your child."
-
"Thank you for engaging the children in wider life issues beyond the school academia. I think it's critical that the general life issues are also discussed with the children, and that the children have the chance to reflect on them as a part of growing up."
