REACHING OUT Livelihood/Women Empowerment - Nandyal

Activity : We have been imparting training in tailoring, acid & phenyl making and jute products crafts. As part of
it, we organised certificate award ceremony for the batch of 159 women have completed the vocational course.

Aim : To empower the women economically
Outcome : Collectively, around 400 participants have been trained and about 315 of them are able to earn Rs

7000 - Rs 9000 each month utilizing the vocational skills acquired.

Iron for Life - Nandyal Visit to JSW agricultural farm by Ladies Club - Salboni

Activity : Essays Competition conducted on the subject of Environment Protection Aim : To promote girl child education so that girls continue studying in high school despite the distance
Aim : To spread awareness about environment amongst school chindren around Vijayanagar Works. between school and village.

Outcome : In this event 11 schools participated from regions nearby Vijayanagar Works. Around 300 students Outcome : Provided bicycles to 75 girl students who travel to Gadivemula from distant villages 5 - 7kms away

had participated, from each school top 5 students were shortlisted and awarded. to pursue secondary education. Since the distribution, the discontinuation of studies of girl students has not

been observed.

Sanitary Napkins to Adolescent Girl Students - Nandyal Football Academy at Salboni - Salboni

Activity : Distribution of Sanitary Napkins to adolescent girl students. Activity : Football match among children from local village at Salboni
