Callie Hess
Hello my name is Callie and I'm a sixth grade student at Swan River.
I started going to Swan River in kindergarten so I have gotten to know a
lot of teachers. My most recent teachers in my class were Mr. Daniel, Ms.
Heather, and Ms. Melanie. Mr. Daniel was very funny and always made us laugh
in lessons. My friends and I always joke around about not leaving, and I do wish
I didn't have to leave.
I have learned a lot from all my teachers. My favorite class was biology
but I liked them all, the hardest lessons were math, but Mr. Daniel always made
time to help. I had a lot of good memories at Swan River. My favorite thing to
do at recess was swing.
Let's talk a little more about my amazing teachers.
First, Mr. Bill. Mr. Bill has so many classes to teach like Technology,
Environmental Education, Art, and he comes to school very early to do morning
extended care. During extended care, he has to deal with a bunch of cranky kids,
but he's always in a good mood.
Next, Ms. Jean, she teaches music and 5th and 6th grade band. She has
done so much teaching us about music, and she has helped everyone so much with
band, she is even still doing sectionals with everyone over Zoom.
Then there's Ms. Amy, who teaches gym. I never really liked gym but she
always made it fun. If someone got hurt, she was always there to help right
away.
Ms. Melanie and Ms. Heather were always so caring and helping. Thank
you to all my teachers, even the ones from back in kindergarten. They have all
helped me get to where I am today and made me ready for middle school.
